Refund policy

This policy applies to B2C purchases made by consumers through the Carlo Salvatelli online store. It does not limit any mandatory rights granted by applicable consumer law.

1. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason for your decision.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, email us at info@carlosalvatelli.it before the 14-day period expires. Please include your name, order number, the product(s) you wish to return and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

2. Returning the products

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the products back within 14 days. We will provide practical return instructions by email.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping and for ensuring that the return is suitably packaged. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

3. Condition of returned products

You may inspect and handle a product only as you would in a physical store to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Please return the product with all original accessories, labels and packaging where reasonably possible.

You may be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

4. Refunds

We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or you have supplied evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are made using the original payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise. We will refund the price paid for the returned product and the cost of standard outbound delivery. Any additional cost resulting from a delivery option more expensive than our standard delivery option will not be refunded.

5. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@carlosalvatelli.it with your order number and photographs where helpful. We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Consumers in the European Union benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for consumer goods. Where a product does not conform to the contract, the remedies available under applicable law, including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where appropriate, apply without cost to the consumer.
